About Perth

The 2022 ANZAMEMS Conference will be held at The University of Western Australia, which is located in Perth, Western Australia, in the inner-west suburb of Crawley.

Australia's sunniest capital city, Perth is famed for its beautiful beaches, fascinating wildlife, food and wine, culture and lifestyle.

The conference venue is located a short distance from Perth CBD and Elizabeth Quay, and a wide range of accommodation and transport options, as well as numerous bars, cafés, and restaurants.

International Visitors


International visitors to Australia (including those from the United Kingdom and the United States) are required to have either an electronic Travel Authority or a Visa to enter the country. About UWA

The 2022 ANZAMEMS Conference will be held on the beautiful grounds of The University of Western Australia.


The conference venue the Arts Building is located on the main Crawley Campus at UWA, and is the location of all the Arts Lecture and Seminar rooms, as well as the New Fortune Theatre and the Shakespeare Garden.

Parking on campus: With the exception of Carpark 31 (Nedlands site) and Carpark 37 (Oral Health Centre car park), Yellow student parking areas are available to non-permit holders during University vacations. The closest UWA Carpark to the conference venue is Car Park 3 (enter via Hackett Drive, see maps below).

Perth Airport has four terminals – T1, T2, T3 and T4 – located at two terminal precincts that are separated by a short, 15 minute drive: the T1/T2 precinct and the T3/T4. Remember to check your itinerary carefully, or contact your airline, to make sure you go to the right terminal, as a number of airlines operate from more than one terminal.
